Abstract (English): Rising sea level poses a serious threat to the health and well-being of vast numbers of people around the world, with impacts expected to grow even more in coming years. The field of public health has a crucial role to play in addressing the complex challenges posed by sea level rise. But to do so effectively, public health will need to rethink, rework, and update some important dimensions of public health practice as well as the manner in which tomorrow's public health professionals are trained.
