مستخلص: China's National Sliding Center will hold the bobsleigh, skeleton and luge events during the Beijing 2022 Winter Olympics. It is the first and only bobsleigh-luge-skeleton track in China; the only track set on a mountain's south face in the world and the Beijing Winter Olympics' project poses the greatest design and construction difficulties. The whole track measures nearly 2000 m in length with a structural system consisting of hyperboloid concrete shell with pendulum column. Along with specially shaped beams made of laminated wood, including 210 large single-sided cantilevers, a new-type wood-steel composite structure is used for the upper sunshade. The design and construction of this sliding center's main facilities, as well as some relevant new-type technologies are introduced and then analyzed in this paper. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
