| مستخلص: | SummaryThe [35S] phenylthiocarbamyl derivative of the octapeptide angiotensin II has been prepared and isolated by paper chromatography. The derivative has been shown to have about a quarter of the biological activity of the original angiotensin, to have a parallel dose response curve and to exhibit cross tachyphylaxis with angiotensin II.It is suggested that this substance may prove of value in determining the metabolic degradation and site of action of angiotensin.Australian Journal of Experimental Biology and Medical Science (1966) 44, 475–484; doi:10.1038/icb.1966.44 |
