Abstract: The taxonomic status of Bryophila dolopisHampson, 1908 is discussed. The validity of the species is substantiated based on the morphological and molecular data. Description and diagnosis of this species are given. The distribution ranges of two closely related species, B. dolopisand B. felina(Eversmann, 1852), are described: B. dolopisis distributed in Southern Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Pakistan, Iran, and China; B.felinais distributed in Central, South, and East Europe, in the Caucasus and Transcaucasia, in the western part of Asia Minor, and in Lebanon. |
