الوصف: A convenient, efficient, and cost-effective approach to the facile enzymatic production of difructose dianhydride (DFA) III from sucrose is described. Inulosucrase and inulin fructotransferase are used for inulin biosynthesis from sucrose and inulin decomposition to DFA III, respectively. Yeast treatment and preparative chromatography are used for the production purification. This method enables the large-scale preparation of difficult-to-access DFA III from the common and cheap starting material sucrose with high yield and purity.
