الوصف: This paper presents the conventional method to design a 6-bit digital phase shifter. Phase shifters are consecrate in antenna beam directing circuit and in RF design to give a phase shift. In this phase shifting circuit, the delay element is introduced to produce a required phase shift. 6-bit Digital Phase shifter provides total 64 phase shift states in steps of 5.625°. Along with six-bit phase shifter, an absorptive type of SPDT switch is designed. Phase shifter and SPDT switch have been designed using 0.25µm GaAs MMIC (Monolithic Microwave Integrated Circuits) technology in Advanced Design System (ADS) software. SPDT switch has insertion loss less than 1.1dB and isolation better than 27dB.
