| الوصف: | International audience; If animal characters belong to a literary tradition going back to Antiquity, contemporary animal characters differ from their fictional predecessors in that they are not viewed as anthropomorphized allegorical projections of humanity, but taken seriously in both their otherness and their individualness as non-human animals. Drawing upon a corpus of contemporary fictional stories, this study sets out to identify certain narrative, enunciative and stylistic innovations consequent upon the narrative and ethical decentering at work therein. In short, the aim is to examine, most frequently within the restricted framework of “animal sequences”, the birth of a narrative that is no longer anthropocentred but zoocentred.; Si le personnage animal appartient à l’évidence à une tradition littéraire qui remonte à l’Antiquité, les personnages animaux contemporains se distinguent de leurs prédécesseurs fictionnels en ce qu’ils ne sont pas conçus comme des projections allégoriques anthropomorphisées de l’humanité, mais pris au sérieux dans leur altérité comme dans leur individualité animales. Cette étude entend dégager d’un corpus de récits fictionnels contemporains certaines innovations narratives, énonciatives et stylistiques résultant du décentrement narratif et éthique qu’ils mettent en œuvre. Il s’agit en somme d’examiner la naissance, le plus souvent dans le cadre restreint de « séquences animalières », d’un récit non plus anthropocentré mais zoocentré. |
