| الوصف: | The advancement in the endovascular treatment and the introduction of novel techniques allowed treatment of more complex and longer femoropopliteal lesions. However, the optimal treatment modality is still a source of controversy. The use of bare metal stents (BMS) showed good results for long femoropopliteal lesions. In this review, we summarized all available data on the different treatment strategies of long femoro-popliteal lesions using BMS. Nevertheless, RCTs with head-to-head comparison between BMS strategies are still needed to have more clarification on the best strategy for the endovascular treatment of long femoropopliteal occlusive lesions. |
