الوصف: Breast cancer is a biologically and clinically heterogeneous disease, and patients with similar clinical stage have markedly different outcomes. Triple-negative breast cancer (TNBC) is defined by the lack of expression of estrogen receptor (ER), progesterone receptor, and human epidermal growth factor receptor 2 (HER2).1,2 This subtype represents 15% to 20% of all breast cancers and is associated with the worst outcome of all subtypes, with greater tendency to distant recurrence in general and visceral metastasis in particular, including brain metastasis.3,4 To date, chemotherapy remains the standard of care for TNBC
