Se analiza la información biológica pesquera correspondiente a la fauna acompañante recopilada en los años 2004 a 2009 por los observadores científicos embarcados en la flota cerquera que opera en la I y II región. El análisis señala que se registra un subreporte de la fauna acompañante, por lo que es necesario mantener esta noemativa y acentuar el seguimeinto de la pesquería, dado que la autorregulación del sector es un planteamiento que debe ser fortalecido para ser un instrumento eficiente. Information is analyzed for biological fishery bycatch collected in the years 2004 to 2009 by scientific observers on board the purse seine fleet operating in the region I and II. Analysis indicates that there was an underreporting of the catch, so it is necessary to maintain this noemata seguimeinto augmenting fishery, given that industry self-regulation is an approach that should be strengthened to become an efficient instrument.
