In order to study the bactericidal mechanism of slightly acidic electrolyzed water (SAEW) against Salmonella enteritidis, the effects of SAEW on cell membrane permeability, cell membrane integrity, reactive oxygen species (ROS), and intracellular ATP of Salmonella enteritidis were studied.
