| الوصف: | It is no longer a surprise: many parts of the world are becoming inhabitable due to recurrent rainfall deficits, repeated floods, extreme rainfall, violent winds, unbearable temperatures (often linked to high humidity levels), storms and cyclones, recurring wildfires, ravaging erosion, land degradation, desertification, coastal erosion, and more.All these climatic processes, often combined, with increasing frequency and magnitude, lead to a rise in population displacement, sometimes on a massive scale in the short term. They also result in a deterioration of living conditions for the affected populations and create tensions that can, increasingly often, escalate into conflicts.This lesson will highlight various case studies from different parts of the world. 13.
