| الوصف: | Did specific medicine for women exist in Greco-Roman antiquity? And, if so, what place did it occupy in the transmission of medical knowledge? What written resources were available to those who were interested in it, from the classical to the Byzantine period? This paper aims to answer these questions through an analysis of the Greek medical sources. Une médecine spécifique destinée aux femmes existait-elle dans l’antiquité gréco-romaine ? Et, si oui, quelle place occupait-elle dans la transmission des connaissances médicales ? De quelles ressources écrites ont pu disposer ceux qui s’y intéressaient, de l’époque classique à la période byzantine ? La présente enquête a pour but de répondre à ces questions à travers l’examen des sources médicales grecques, y compris papyrologiques. |
