| الوصف: | El presente estudio tiene como objeto mostrar los distintos recursos utilizados por Gonzalo Fernández de Oviedo para redactar y estructurar su Historia general y natural de las Indias. Uno de ellos tiene que ver con la utilización que hizo dela crónica escrita por fray Gaspar de Carvajal sobre la jornada de Omagua y El Dorado, capitaneada por Francisco de Orellana. Al modificar el relato de Carvajal, Oviedo nos deja ver esa tentación y casi que necesidad de hacer historia desde la vivencia personalizada, y lo hace con un objetivo concreto: convencer al lector de que todo lo incluido en su relato es verdad. Oviedo reescribe el relato de Carvajal y al hacerlo, conforma una narración alterna, con características similares a lafuente, pero con algunas diferencias que nos dejan ver el proceso mismo en que se fue gestando y modificando el relato del historiador madrileño. This study aims to show the different resources used by Gonzalo Fernandez de Oviedo to write and structure his Historia general y natural de las Indias. One of them has to do with the use of the chronicle written by fray Gaspar de Carvajal, on the journey of Omagua and El Dorado, commanded by Francisco de Orellana.By modifying the story of Carvajal, Oviedo lets us see the temptation and almost the need to make history from the personalized experience, and does so with a specific goal: to convince the reader that everything included in his storyis true. Oviedo rewrites the story of Carvajal and by doing so, creates an alternate narrative, with some of the characteristics of the source, but with key differences that allow us to see the process that gave shape to changed his account. |
