| الوصف: | Cet article analyse la manière dont les publics tirent parti d’une offre localisée de spectacles culturels au regard de leurs propriétés sociales. Il repose sur une enquête par questionnaire et par entretien auprès des étudiants d’une université française, et d’une connaissance fine des lieux de spectacle vivant de l’agglomération dans laquelle ils étudient. Combiner l’analyse quantitative de leur fréquentation à l’analyse qualitative de leur programmation et de leurs modalités d’accès permet de les caractériser par leur proximité du point de vue de leur public et de l’offre de spectacle proposée. L’article distingue différents types d’étudiants en fonction de leurs fréquentations de spectacles. Plus ou moins intenses et diversifiées, ces sorties sont orientées par des considérations esthétiques et pratiques, rapportées aux différents contextes de socialisation familiaux et scolaires traversés. The purpose of this study is to analyze how the students from different social background profit from the local opportunities of cultural outings. We conducted our study by using questionnaire replies and interviews with students from a French University. Both approaches were designed by taking into account our precise knowledge of the entertainment and art venues in the town and its surroundings. We combined quantitative analysis of the attendance at concert or dance halls, and theatres or cinemas, with qualitative analysis of their programs and their access modalities. This allowed us to emphasize different configurations of cultural institutions, based on the similarity of their audience and cultural offer. Finally, we highlight several typical schemes of cultural outings among the students, whose aesthetic and practical judgments on cultural institutions depend on their socialization context. |
