| الوصف: | The aim of this paper is to extend the notion of light verbs to all the constructions in which a semantically ‘light’ verb is involved. Light verb constructions occur not only when the verb takes a noun in the accusative (V + NP[+acc]), but also when the noun is in another case (V + NP[-acc]) or is the complement of a prepositional phrase (V + PP), as well as when the verb co-occurs with an adverb (V + Adv). Indeed, all these constructions show a similar behaviour, and can be considered as a particular expression of the general construction V + X. This idea is developed taking into account habeo as a light verb. Dans cet article je me propose d’étendre le concept de « verbe support » à toutes les constructions où se rencontre un verbe ‘vide’ d’un point de vue sémantique. Cela se produit seulement quand le verbe régit un nom à l’accusatif (V + SN[+acc]), mais aussi quand le nom se trouve à un autre cas (V + NP[-acc]) ou est le complément d’un syntagme prépositionnel (V + SP), ainsi que quand le verbe se joint à un adverbe (V + Adv). En fait, ces constructions peuvent être toutes considérées comme des manifestations particulières d’une construction générale V + X. Cette idée est développée en considérant le cas du verbe support habeo. |
