| الوصف: | Cet article s’intéresse aux modalités d’intervention dans l’espace public de l’artiste Christoph Büchel avec son Barca Nostra Project exposé en 2019 en marge de la Biennale de Venise. Il s’agit de démontrer comment une installation artistique met en tension une situation politique dramatique en s’efforçant de provoquer un événement. Cette tentative peut en effet être envisagée comme une réplique artistique à la politique de crise menée depuis vingt ans en Europe vis-à-vis des migrants, et l’affirmation d’une volonté d’intervenir esthétiquement dans un contexte éthiquement failli. This paper deals with the ways the artist Christoph Büchel intervened in public space with his Barca Nostra Project displayed in 2019, aside the Venice Biennale. It tends to demonstrate how an artistic installation puts under tension a dramatic political situation by trying to provoke an event. Indeed, such an attempt can be envisioned as an artistic replica to the crisis policy led in Europe over the past twenty years towards migrants, and it can be seen as a way to affirm the artist’s will to intervene aesthetically in a ethically failed context. |
