| الوصف: | Il s’agira, dans cet article, de s’interroger sur la fonction et les enjeux de la métaphore dans les écrits théoriques de Roland Barthes : pourquoi, alors que l’image est habituellement considérée comme un obstacle à toute activité intellectuelle rigoureuse, Barthes y a-t-il constamment recours ? On s’attardera, à titre d’exemple, sur l’usage qu’il fait du mot « corps ». The purpose of this article is to question the function and the issues of metaphor in Roland Barthes’ theoretical writings: if images are usually considered an obstacle to all accurate intellectual activity, why does Barthes constantly resort to them? To exemplify, special attention will be given to his use of the word « corps ». |
