| الوصف: | Cet article traite de l’utilisation de l’adjectif bolivariano dans le langage politique vénézuélien. Il s’agit d’interroger son signifié, en s’arrêtant tout d’abord sur son histoire et ses aspects linguistiques, puis en observant comment circule ce terme – et avec lui, le mythe de Simón Bolívar –, du discours du président Hugo Chávez à celui de la presse. L’analyse discursive porte plus particulièrement sur un corpus de presse vénézuélienne constitué autour de la tentative de coup d’État contre Hugo Chávez, afin d’examiner les enjeux politiques liés à cet adjectif. L’étude montre d’abord l’ambigüité inhérente à ce terme, puis son glissement vers un nouveau signifié : se rapportant à l’origine à la figure de Bolívar, il se rapporte désormais à celle de Hugo Chávez et sa « révolution bolivarienne ». The article deals with the uses of the adjective bolivariano in the Venezuelan political discourse. It aims at addressing its signifié from President Hugo Chavez’s discourse to that of the press, dwelling by the same token on its history and linguistic aspects. The paper then shows how the word is conveyed alongside Simón Bolívar’s myth. The discursive analysis relies more precisely on a corpus of the Venezuelan press dealing with the attempted coup against Hugo Chávez so as to address the political stakes linked to such an adjective. It first accounts for the ambiguity inherent in such a word, then it shows how the word shifts towards a new signifié : while it originally refers to Bolívar’s figure, the adjective bolivariano henceforth embodies that of Chávez and his « Bolivarian revolution ». Este artículo trata de la utilización del adjetivo bolivariano en el lenguaje político de Venezuela. Se trata de interrogarse sobre su significado, deteniéndose primero en su historia y sus aspectos lingüísticos, y luego observando cómo circula este término – y junto a él, el mito de Simón Bolívar – del discurso del presidente Hugo Chávez al de la prensa escrita. Concretamente, el análisis discursivo se lleva a cabo en un corpus de prensa venezolana referente al intento de golpe de Estado contra Hugo Chávez con el fin de examinar las posiciones políticas que pueden estar ligadas a este adjetivo. Primero que todo, se muestra la ambigüedad inherente a este término, y luego, la acepción de un nuevo significado : relacionado en su origen con la figura de Bolívar, el adjetivo bolivarianopasa a relacionarse con la de Hugo Chávez y su « revolución bolivariana ». |
