| الوصف: | La presente investigación titulada «La acción colectiva de las mujeres obreras en Castellón durante la Segunda República y la Guerra Civil: entre la reivindicación laboral y la reafirmación identitaria feminista», trata la actuación de las mujeres en el ámbito laboral, sindical, asociativo y político de las comarcas de Castellón durante la Segunda República y la Guerra Civil. Se realiza un análisis de las leyes laborales que incidieron en las obreras, así como un estudio de caso en el sector citrícola de la confección de naranja, en el que se evidencia la discriminación salarial y la conflictividad laboral. Abordamos la presencia femenina en las sociedades agrarias y en los partidos y organizaciones políticas de clase, así como sus luchas y reivindicaciones. Las formaciones políticas históricas como el socialismo y el anarquismo trataron desde muy pronto la problemática femenina, aunque con planteamientos distintos. Ambos movimientos contaron con importantes mujeres tanto en ámbito estatal como provincial y local. Al igual que otras formaciones más recientes como el Partido Comunista, las Juventudes Socialistas Unificadas y el POUM. El mayor protagonismo de las mujeres se produjo con la Guerra Civil, primero con la presencia de las milicianas en el frente, que en Castellón marcharon con la Columna Matteotti, y posteriormente en las organizaciones femeninas de ayuda al Gobierno del Frente Popular con la Agrupación de Mujeres Antifascistas, Unión de Muchachas y Mujeres Libres. Todas estas organizaciones surgieron en los municipios castellonenses realizando diversas actuaciones y ocupando los puestos de trabajo que abandonaban los hombres, motivo que causó controversia en el seno de las grandes sindicales obreras. La ocupación franquista de Castellón frustraría el camino emancipatorio que las mujeres iniciaron a partir de la Segunda República. |
| الوصف (مترجم): | The present research entitled "The collective action of women workers in Castellón during the Second Republic and the Civil War: labour claims and feminist identity asserting", deals with women’s interventions at the workplace, trade unions, associative and political spheres in the regions of Castellón, during the Second Republic and the Civil War. We conducted an analysis of the labour laws that affected women workers as well as a case study on the agricultural sector where wage discrimination and labour conflict become evident. We address women´s participation in agrarian societies, political parties and political class organisations, along with their struggles and demands. Women´s presence in political parties and political class organisations was more modest. Rooting of emerging formations primarily in the 19th century, such as socialism and anarchism, addressed women's issues very early on, although with different approaches. Both movements had important women representation at all levels (national, provincial and local). As did other formations such as the Communist Party, the Unified Socialist Youth and the POUM (Marxist Unification Labour Party). The most important role of women took place with the Civil War. Firstly, with the presence of the militia women, who marched with the Matteotti Column in Castellon, and subsequently the women's organisations in support of the Popular Front Government with: Agrupación de Mujeres Antifascistas, Unión de Muchachas and Mujeres Libres. All these organisations appeared in the municipalities of Castellón, carrying out various activities and holding the jobs abandoned by men, which caused controversy within the large workers' trade unions.
