| مستخلص: | The Study Abroad Health and Safety Report informs students and parents about significant health and safety incidents while studying abroad. Incidents, as reported on the Study Abroad Health and Safety Survey, are defined as deaths and hospitalizations that occurred during participation in a study abroad program. Minnesota legislation (Minn. Stat. § 5.41) aims to strengthen student safety by asking Minnesota colleges and universities with study abroad programs to report the following information annually: (1) Hospitalizations and deaths of students during program participation; (2) Country, primary program host, and program type of each incident; and (3) Whether the program complies with health and safety standards set by the nationally recognized Forum on Education Abroad or a similar standard. |
