مستخلص: The efficacy was analyzed and comparative estimation of the results was done, based on investigation, conducted in 63 laboratory animals and 30 patients, suffering extended purulent peritonitis, in whom a new method of abdominal cavity sanation was applied, using the "sac" made of polyvynilpirrolidon shell and homemade coal-mineral adsorbent UM--5 for enterodetoxication in complex of treatment after the operation. Maximal removal of microorganisms and their life activities products from abdominal cavity and small intestine lumen, the adhesive process and interintestinal abscesses elimination, the intoxication severity reduction were promoted by a new approach application.
