| مستخلص: | Hypothermia is a most powerful tool for the protection of various organs especially brain. The review is focused on the mechanisms of protective action (modulation ofmetabolism and local inflammatory reaction, prevention of blood-brain barrier disorders, normalization of nitric oxide synthesis) and technology of therapeutic hypothermia. Main clinical situations in which the most effective and safe application of this technology was achieved are described. |
