مستخلص: Hereditary ventricular polyposis in the form of gastric adenocarcinoma and proximal polyposis of the stomach (GAPPS) is a rare condition characterised by a typical distribution of polyps in the stomach and risk of gastric cancer at a young age. Prophylactic gastrectomy may be indicated. The condition is not thought to be associated with increased risk of colon cancer, but the evidence base is limited.
