مستخلص: Human intestinal organoids (HIOs), derived from pluripotent stem cells, are a new tool to gain insights in gastrointestinal development, physiology, and associated diseases. Herein, we present a method for renal transplantation of HIOs in immunocompromised mice and subsequent analysis to study intestinal epithelial cell proliferation. In addition, we describe how to generate enteroids from transplanted HIOs. The method highlights the specific steps to successful engraftment and provides insight into the study of human intestinal stem cells.
