Abstract (English): I present the first Colombian record, and the third known locality of Musso's Fish eating rat, Neusticomys mussoi. This record extends the known range of the species in approximately 182 km to the southwest and 300 m in elevation. I suggest the implementation of complementary sampling methods with pit-fall traps to increase the knowledge of species considered rare. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
