The article presents a study that aims to evaluate skills retention amongst healthcare workers after three months of attending a one-day Neonatal Basic Life Support (NBLS) course in Sierra Leone. It informs that Sierra Leone has the highest neonatal mortality rate in world. The NBLS training course covered topics on neonatal resuscitation protocols based on guidelines by the International Liaison Committee on Resuscitation and the European Resuscitation Council. |
