مستخلص: Material store is important in the organization structure of a Hotel. The health of a store affects overall performance of hotel. Store Manager's duties are issue product, prepare purchase orders, check inventory, record all entries in the system, negotiate and make strategic decisions. There are many ways to look at the importance of managing the inventory. The technology plays its role to make inventory management more effective. Once, the goods reach in company, storekeeper will either transfer the goods to the specific department of the company or will store it as inventory. The inventories in a hotel are classified as Food, Beverages, laundry, housekeeping, crockery and sanitary. Overall, inventory classification plays a significant role in any business success. This is a proven factor of a successful business in any industry. The study was carried out to classify the inventory, leading to effective capital management and high customer satisfaction. The inventories represent a significant portion of the total current assets of Hotel. In any business controlling the inventory is difficult at times. For any hotel to do a successful business customer satisfaction is on top priority. Various inventories management costs i.e. handling cost, storage cost, risk of obsolescence, spoilage and the opportunity cost exists eventually and unavoidable. If there is slight imbalance in dealing these costs, business experiences Bull Whip effect on negative side. And hotel suffers losses with loss of goodwill. Hence precise study carried out to classify the inventory through ABC analysis by Dual Criteria Rating and Multi Criteria Ratings. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
