Abstract (English): Technical vehicles inspection procedure is of general (national) interest in the context of the roadworthiness of vehicles, which has a direct impact on the security of the Road Traffic safety. Feedback regarding the results of periodical technical inspections (PTI) of vehicles, especially in a situation where the vehicle malfunctions are determined, result in a negative outcome in the vehicle technical inspection, is of great importance for the manufacturers and owners/users of vehicles, both in the context of raising the level of roadworthiness of vehicles in exploitation and in the same context, management. Main goal of this scientific research is to build a predictive roadworthiness of passenger vehicles model based on the results of technical inspections, by using methods of Business Intelligence (Data Mining, Decision trees, CHAID algorithms, neural networks). Abstract (Croatian): Tehnički pregled vozila djelatnost je od općeg (nacionalnog) interesa u kontekstu provjere tehničke ispravnosti vozila, koja ima izravni utjecaj na razinu sigurnosti prometa na cestama. Povratna informacija o rezultatu tehničkog pregleda vozila posebno u situaciji kada se na vozilu utvrde tehničke neispravnosti koje za posljedicu imaju negativan rezultat vozila na tehničkom pregledu (“pad”), od iznimnog je značaja za proizvođača i vlasnika vozila, kako u pogledu podizanja razine tehničke ispravnosti vozila u eksploataciji, tako i u pogledu gospodarenja istim. Cilj ovog znanstvenog istraživanja je izraditi prediktivni model tehničke ispravnosti osobnih vozila na temelju rezultata tehničkih pregleda primjenom metoda poslovne inteligencije (rudarenja podataka, stabla odlučivanja, CHAID algoritmi, neuronske mreže).
