مستخلص: Japanese people love chrysanthemum flowers, which are everywhere in Japan throughout the year. However, there has been no report of chrysanthemum dermatitis. Several reports of con- tact dermatitis occurring in chrysanthemum growers were found in the field of rural medicine, and only three patients were confirmed. It has been reported that all patients with chrysanthemum dermatitis are positive to helenin while arteglasin-A, a guaianolide derivative, was reported to be a main allergen in chrysanthemum. Most Japanese people enjoy eating chrysanthemum leaves and floating the flower on their soup because of its aroma.
