| Abstract (English): |
The Research sheds light on the contributions of the doctors of medieval Islam to discover and diagnosis liver diseases. It also discusses their valuable contributions to find effective methods to cure these diseases, whether surgical or medical, which formed the basis of modern medicine In this paper, through various sections, I will try to highlight the pioneering role of the physicians in Islamic world in this field and also appreciate their precious advices to precisely identify each of them and the most important ways and techniques of cures which they reached. Thank to Muslim physicians, doctors today are able to recognize many of the liver diseases and distinguish between them. In fact, their fruitful efforts are a direct result of Islamic teachings to think and work for the greater good of the humanity . [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR] |

يحاول هذا البحث أن يسبرَ غور جهود الأطباء العرب في العالم الإسلامي في اكتشاف وتشخيص أمراض الكبد، وإسهاماتهم القيمة في اكتشاف طرق فعَّالة في علاجها سواء كانت دوائية أو جراحية، والتي شكَّلت القاعدة التي ارتكز عليها المتخصصون في أمراض الكبد في عصرنا الحاضر في التشخيص والعلاج، ويحاول البحث انطلاقًا من عدة مباحث إبراز الدور الريادي للأطباء المسلمين في اكتشاف بعض أمراض الكبد، ونصائحهم الثمينة في طرق التشخيص، وأهم ما توصَّلوا إليه من طرق علاجية، وهذا بلا ريب دليل على فضل أطباء الحضارة الإسلامية -بعد الله- على البشرية، وإسهامهم في التقدم الحضاري الذي يشهده عصرنا الحاضر، ومما لا شك فيه أنَّ جهودهم المثمرة كانت نتيجة مباشرة لحض ديننا العظيم "الإسلام" على البحث العلمي، وعمارة الأرض، نفع البشرية .
