| Abstract (English): |
This paper examines the rare pieces in the Spanish theatre from the XVI century in which Luther appears. The article first emphasizes the need to cope with the absence resulting to the loss - more or less imposed for various reasons - of an endless number of texts from this period and to reintroduce into the debate on the Spanish theatre the so-called European controversial or polemic drama. We then identify and underline the elements likely to characterize the scenic treatment of Luther in those pieces, such as the insertion of the Augustinian in comic scenes, the adoption of scenic signs typical of other forms of difference and dissidence (the Devil, the Turk); the distance between the exposed on stage and the real referent, the substitution of the reformer by a spokesman of his 'sect' as well as the reduction to the minimum expression of the heterodox word or the absence of deep theological disputes. Llevamos a cabo un recorrido por las escasas piezas del Quinientos en las que aparece Lutero. Tras subrayar la necesidad de convivir con la ausencia impuesta por el sinfín de textos que se han perdido o hubieron de hacerse desaparecer por razones varias e integrar en el debate el teatro llamado polémico europeo, se ponen de relieve los elementos que, al decir de lo poco conservado, parecen caracterizar el tratamiento escénico de Lutero, como la inserción del agustino en escenas cómicas, la adopción de signos escénicos propios de otras formas de diferencia y de disidencia (el Diablo, el Turco); la distancia entre lo expuesto y tratado en escena y el referente real concretada, incluso, en la substitución del reformador por un portavoz de su 'secta' así como la reducción a la mínima expresión de la palabra heterodoxa o la ausencia de hondas disputas teológicas, entre otras.
