The reading of the l. 3: Dacoru[m] and l. 4: Durpa[neus] of an inscription, coming from Areias do Vilar (Portugal, AE 1983, 568), proposed by us in the year 2000 (IDRE I 178), revisited here, is confirmed. Moreover, in the l. 2, we propose now the reading numeru[s]. Another inscription, a funeral one (CIL II 375), also coming from the Hispania province, recently revisited by Alicia M. Canto (Hispania epigraphica, 8, 1998 [2002], p. 46, n. 146), mentions a certain M. Aurelius Achaicus, natione Geta; the tombstone was set by a person named [Dece?]balus. We probably deal with a Dacian unit, which had fought in Achaia province during Marcus Aurelius' reign (under the command of L. Iulius Vehilius Gratus), and which was thereafter sent to Hispania province, in order to drive back the Moorish tribes who had earlier invaded the province (CIL VI 31856 = ILS 1327). Nuestra interpretación del año 2.000, en IDRE I 178, de una inscripción de Areias do Vilar (Portugal, AE 1983, 568) era, para la línea 3 Dacoru[m] y línea 4 Durpa[neus]. Vuelto a examinar el texto, confirmamos aquella lectura. Y en línea 2 proponemos leer numeru[s]. Una inscripción funaria hispana, recientemente revisada por Alicia Mа. Canto en Hispania epigraphica, 8, 1998 [2002], p. 46, n. 146, menciona a cierto M. Aurelius Ac(h)aicus, natione Geta. Y proponemos que la piedra se puso a iniciativa de un hombre llamado [Dece?]balus. Es posible que marchara con una unidad de dacios a la provincia de Acaya en época de Marco Aurelio (bajo el mando de L. Iulius Vehilius Gratus) y posteriormente fue enviado a Hispania, con un destacamento cuya misión era combatir a las hordas de tribus de mauri que habían invadido la provincia Baetica (CIL VI 31856 = ILS 1327).
