Abstract (English): This study aim to investigate 21st century skills embedded in the grades 7-9 scientific text books. The research developed an analyses survey depending on 21st century skills literature. This survey was used to analyzed science text books objectives,content,activities,and assessment tools. The content results indicated that grades 7-9 science text books weakly integrate 21st century skills. Where these text books do not integrate any of ICT and leadership skills. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
Abstract (Arabic): في فلسطين لمها ا رت القرن - هدفت هذه الد ا رسة إلى استقصاء مدى تضمين كتب العلوم للمرحلة الأساسية للصفوف من ) 7 21 الرئيسية والفرعية، وتم تطوير أداة تحليل هي استمارة تحليل للمحتوى تتضمن مها ا رت القرن، وتم تحديد وجود المها ا رت في المحتوى من خلال ما تشير إليه كل من الأهداف وفق ا رت المحتوي، والأنشطة العملية والنظرية، وأسئلة التقويم إلى أي من المؤش ا رت الواردة في استمارة التحليل التي يمكن استخدامها للدلالة على وجود المها ا رت، وتم حساب النسبة المئوية لها من إجمالي قائمة المؤش ا رت الواردة في استمارة التحليل. وقد أشارت النتائج إلى تدني تضمين كتب العلوم لمها ا رت القرن 21 الرئيسية والفرعية، وعدم تضمينها لمها ا رت أخرى منها استخدام التكنولوجيا والمبادرة والتوجه الذاتي، والقيادة والمسؤولية.
