| Abstract (English): |
This study examined the size of educational waste in the Faculty of Sciences in northern border university and the factors causing such educational waste. The researcher used the quantitative methodology. In addition, the researcher used the interview method and insured it’s validity and reliability. To examine the factors leading to the educational waste, the researcher interviewed (22) dropped out. The researcher used repetitions, percentages and means, and the equitation of the indicators of the educational waste. In the field of the size of educational waste, the study showed that the three groups were (80%) while the average of the period of study for one graduate was (17,78) during an academic semester). The efficiency factor amounted to (44,95 %). The study showed the factors causing the educational waste in this faculty as follows: economic, academic and self- factors related to the student himself. The study recommended coordination with the Ministry of Civil Service and the relevant authorities in the private sector to find and develop multiple career opportunities for graduates of the Faculty of Science. هدفت الد ا رسة إلى التعرف على حجم الهدر التعليمي في كلية العلوم بجامعة الحدود الشمالية، والعوامل المؤدية إليه. حيث 1429 ه)، / استخدم الباحث المنهج الكمي من خلال تتبع ثلاثة أفواج حقيقية، من الطلاب المقبولين في العام الجامعي ( 1428 1431 ه)، وبلغ عددهم ( 839 طالباً)، كما تم استخدم أداة المقابلة، حيث تم التأكد من صدقها / 1430 ه)، و( 1430 / و( 1429 وثباتها، وتم مقابلة ( 22 ) طالباً متسرباً؛ لكشف العوامل المؤدية إلى الهدر التعليمي، وقد تم استخدام عدد من الأساليب الإحصائية، وهي التك ا ر ا رت والنسب المئوية والمتوسطات الحسابية، وتطبيق المعادلات الخاصة بمؤش ا رت الهدر التعليمي، وتوصلت الد ا رسة، أن نسبة التسرب للأفواج الثلاثة بلغت ( 80 %)، ومتوسط مدة الد ا رسة للخريج الواحد ( 17,78 ) فصل د ا رسي، ومعامل الكفاءة بلغ ( 44,95 %)، وكشفت الد ا رسة وجود عدد من العوامل المؤدية إلى الهدر التعليمي في هذه الكلية صنفت إلى عوامل اقتصادية، وعوامل أكاديمية، وعوامل ذاتية، ومن توصيات هذه الد ا رسة التنسيق مع و ا زرة الخدمة المدنية والجهات ذات العلاقة في القطاع الخاص لإيجاد واستحداث فرص وظيفية متعددة لخريجي كلية العلوم.
