| Abstract (English): |
The study aimed to identify the role of academic leaders in the application of information and communication technology in e-teaching process in Saudi Arabia Virtual University from the viewpoint of faculty members, and to reveal any statistically significant differences in the role of academic leaders in the application of information and communication technology in e-teaching process in Saudi Arabia Virtual University due to academic rank, years of experience, and faculty type. The researcher used the descriptive survey, and the study measuring instrument was developed in order to answer the study questions. The study sample consisted of (173) faculty member in Saudi universities that were selected randomly, and after conducting a statistical treatment of the data, results showed a high degree in the role of academics to the application of information technology and communication in e-teaching process, having a medium degree in obstacles to the application, and statistically significant differences for the role of academic leaders in the application of information technology and communication in e-teaching process due to the variables: Years of Experience in favor of five years or less, and academic rank in favor of an assistant professor, and no statistically significant differences due to college. The study recommended the holding of specialized courses in the field of research-mail links to teachers, to transfer knowledge to students using these high-effectively links. هدفت الد ا رسة التعرف على دور القادة الأكاديميين في تطبيق تكنولوجيا المعلومات والإتصالات في عملية التدريس الإلكتروني في الجامعة السعودية الإلكترونية من وجهة نظر أعضاء هيئة التدريس وٕالى معرفة مدى وجود فروق ذات دلالة احصائية في دور القادة الأكاديميين في تطبيق تكنولوجيا المعلومات والإتصالات في عملية التدريس الإلكتروني في الجامعة السعودية الإلكترونية تعزى لمتغي ا رت (الرتبة الأكاديمية، سنوات الخبرة، الكلية). استخدم الباحث المنهج الوصفي المسحي وقد تم تطوير أداة قياس بهدف الإجابة عن أسئلة الد ا رسة وتكونت عينة الد ا رسة من ( 173 ) عضو هيئة تدريس في الجامعات السعودية تم اختيارهم بطريقة عشوائية، وبعد إج ا رء المعالجة الاحصائية للبيانات أظهرت النتائج وجود درجة مرتفعة في دور الأكاديميين لتطبيق تكنولوجيا المعلومات والإتصالات في عملية التدريس الإلكتروني، وجود درجة متوسطة في معوقات التطبيق، وجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية لدور القادة الأكاديميين في تطبيق تكنولوجيا المعلومات والإتصالات في عملية التدريس الإلكتروني تعزى لمتغي ا رت سنوات الخبرة لصالح 5 سنوات فأقل، والرتبة الأكاديمية لصالح أستاذ مساعد، وعدم وجود فروق تعزى لمتغير الكلية، أوصت الد ا رسة بعقد دو ا رت متخصصة في مجال روابط البحث الإلكتروني للمدرسين، لنقل المعرفة إلى الطلبة في مجال استخدام هذه الروابط بفاعلية عالية.
