| Abstract (English): |
The present study aimed at investigating the effect of a training program based on the Educational Criteria of the National Strategy for Teachers’ Preparation and Rehabilitation on mathematical and language knowledge, and on instructional behavior among teachers of lower basic stage in Palestine. To achieve the aims of the study, a training program based on the Educational Criteria of the National Strategy for Teachers’ Preparation and Rehabilitation was prepared and designed. In addition, three instruments were used: a test of mathematical knowledge, a test of language knowledge, and a scale of instructional behavior. The study used quasi experimental method. The training program was applied on the experimental group, while the control group was exposed to the ordinary instructional program. The subjects of the study were (64) teachers in total. The results showed that there were significant differences on mathematical and language knowledge, and on instructional behavior among teachers of lower basic stage in Palestine, in favor of the training program based on the Educational Criteria of the National Strategy for Teachers’ Preparation and Rehabilitation. In the light of the results, several recommendations were suggested as adopting the training program used by this study and taking care of developing mathematical and language knowledge among teachers of lower basic stage. سعت الد ا رسة الحالية إلى تقصّي أثر برنامج تدريبي قائم على المعايير التربوية للإست ا رتيجية الوطنيّة لإعداد المعلّمين وتأهيلهم في المعرفة الرياضيّة واللغوية والسلوك التعليميّ لدى معلّمي المرحلة الأساسية الدنيا في فلسطين. ولتحقيق أهداف الد ا رسة تمّ إعداد برنامج تدريبي قائم على تلك المعايير التربوية، بالإضافة إلى استخدام ثلاث أدوات، هي: اختبار المعرفة الرياضيّة، واختبار المعرفة اللغوية، ومقياس السلوك التعليميّ . واتبعت الد ا رسة منهجاً شبه تجريبي، وطُبّق البرنامج التدريبي على المجموعة التجريبية، وأمّا المجموعة الضابطة فطُبّق عليها التدريب الاعتيادي، وقد بلغ مجموع أف ا رد الد ا رسة ( 64 ) معلّم اً. أظهرت نتائج الد ا رسة وجود فرق دال إحصائياً في المعرفة الرياضيّة والمعرفة اللغوية والسلوك التعليميّ لصالح البرنامج القائم على المعايير التربوية للإست ا رتيجية الوطنيّة لإعداد وتأهيل المعلّمين. وبناءً على هذه النتائج، فقد أوصت الد ا رسة بعدد من التوصيات منها تبنّي البرنامج التدريبي الذي استخدمته الد ا رسة، والاهتمام بتحسين المعرفة الرياضيّة واللغوية لمعلّمي المرحلة الأساسية الدنيا.
