| Abstract (English): |
The current study aimed to identify the relationship between the cultural openness and religious commitment among Jordanian universities’ students. The sample consisted of 528 male and female students. The study results found a high level of the religious commitment and the cultural openness among Jordanian universities’ students. There was a positive correlation between the essential and the virtual religious commitment. There were significant differences between the students’ responses mains on the two study tools due to the gender variable for the females’ favour, and to the student cultural source variable for the satellites and radio favour. There was a correlation between the religious commitment and the cultural openness among the Jordanian universities’ students. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR] |

هدفت الد ا رسة الحالية إلى التعرف على مستوى الانفتاح الثقافي لدى طلبة الجامعات الأردنية وعلاقته بالت ا زمهم الديني. تكونت عينة الد ا رسة من ( 528 ) طالباً وطالبة. توصلت نتائج الد ا رسة إلى وجود مستوى الت ا زم ديني عالٍ، ومستوى انفتاح ثقافي عالٍ لدى طلبة الجامعات الأردنية. هناك علاقة ارتباطية موجبة بين الالت ا زم الديني الجوهري والظاهري، توجد فروق دالة بين متوسطات استجابات الطلبة على أداتي الد ا رسة تعزى لمتغير جنس الطالب لصالح الإناث، ولمتغير مصدر ثقافة الطلبة لصالح الفضائيات والإذاعات. توجد علاقة ارتباطية بين الانفتاح الثقافي والالت ا زم الديني لدى طلبة الجامعات الأردنية.
