| Abstract (English): |
The study sought to identify what personal and academic constituents in the light of the Islamic and contemporary educational thoughts should a faculty member demonstrate from al-Bayt University students' point of view, and whether these constituents are affected by the variables of sex (male, female), and the level of study (BA, Graduate), and faculty (scientific, humane). To achieve the objectives of the study, the researcher designed a questionnaire consisted of includes two dimensions that include seventy (70) items, each of which constitutes one of the components of a university professor, and applied it to the sample of the study, which consisted of (488) students who were selected by using the stratified random sampling technique. The results of the data analysis found that (25) items of the dimension of personal constituents contained in the study tool got a high rate, and (11) items got a moderate rate, and (16) items of the dimension of academic constituents got a high rate, and (18) items got a moderate rate. The results also showed that there were no statistically significant differences between the students' estimates regarding the constituents due to the variables of level of study and faculty, while there were statistically significant differences in the dimension of personal constituents due to the variable of sex in favor of males. In light of its findings, the study concluded with a number of recommendations, including providing the faculty members at al-Bayt University with the personal and academic constituents that should faculty members demonstrate from their students' point of view. هدفت الد ا رسة إلى تعرف المقومات الشخصيَّة والأكاديميَّة للأستاذ الجامعي في ضوء الفكر التربوي الإسلامي والمعاصر التي يجب أن يمتلكها عضو هيئة التدريس من وجهة نظر طلبة جامعة آل البيت، وما إذا كانت هذه المقومات تتأثر بفعل متغي ا رت الجنس (ذكر، أنثى)، والبرنامج الد ا رسي (بكالوريوس، د ا رسات عليا)، والكلية (علمية، إنسانية). ولتحقيق أهداف الد ا رسة، قام الباحث بتصميم استبانة تضم مجالين تندرج تحتهما سبعون ( 70 ) فقرة تشكل كل منها إحدى مقومات الأستاذ الجامعي، وتطبيقها على عينة الد ا رسة التي تكونت من ( 488 ) طالبا وطالبة تمَّ اختيارهم بالطريقة الطبقية العشوائية. وأشارت نتائج تحليل البيانات إلى أن ( 25 ) فقرة من فق ا رت مجال المقومات الشخصيَّة الواردة في أداة الد ا رسة حصلت على درجة تقدير مرتفعة، وأن ( 11 ) فقرة حصلت على درجة تقدير متوسطة، وأن ( 16 ) فقرة من فق ا رت مجال المقومات الأكاديميَّة حصلت على درجة تقدير مرتفعة، وأن ( 18 ) فقرة حصلت على درجة تقدير متوسطة. واظهرت النتائج عدم وجود فروق دالة إحصائياً بين تقدي ا رت الطلبة تبعاً لمتغيري البرنامج الد ا رسي والكلية، ووجود فروق دالة إحصائياً في مجال المقومات الشخصيَّة تبعاً لمتغير الجنس وكانت الفروق لصالح الذكور. وفي ضوء نتائجها، خلُصت الد ا رسة إلى عدد من التوصيات، ومن أهمها تزويد أعضاء هيئة التدريس في جامعة آل البيت بدليل يتضمن المقومات الشخصية والأكاديمية التي يرغب الطلبة بتوفرها لدى أساتذتهم.
