Endosalpingiosis is the presence of tubal ectopic glands outside the fallopian tube. It may be present in pelvic organs, including ovaries, fallopian tube serosa, uterine serosa, myometrium or pelvic peritoneal surfaces. Further and detailed ultrasound scan proved that the mass was distorting the upper part of the cervix but not affecting the uterine cavity and the ectocervix. [Extracted from the article] |
