| Abstract (English): |
This article proposes a techno-political reading on urban-youth activism practices in Rio de Janeiro after the demonstrations which took place in 2013. Two cases are addressed: video activism in the framework of the 2014 World Cup, and; rodas culturais (hip hop movement) during 2016/17. Techno-political strategies and audiovisual functions and narratives are analyzed. State violence is identified as a counter-narrative common to both cases of activism. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR] |

Proponemos una lectura tecnopolítica sobre prácticas de activismo urbano-juvenil en la ciudad de Río de Janeiro posterior a las manifestaciones de 2013, abordando dos casos: el videoactivismo en el marco del Mundial de Fútbol 2014, y las rodas culturales (movimiento hip hop) durante 2016/17. Caracterizamos las estrategias tecnopolíticas y analizamos las funciones y narrativas audiovisuales. La violencia de Estado se identifica como contra-narrativa común a ambos casos de activismo.
