مستخلص: This article presents a structural criticism on the story "Bartleby the Scrivener." It is suggested that literary criticism is structuralist in every age while detailing the structuralist perspective as a proposed science of applied poetics, replete with a panoramagramic methodology. The metaphorical tensions and energies of the spatialization and schematization informing this structuralist instrument and its analyses is what foregrounds the definition of structure as the formal unity of form and meaning or meaning rethought as form.
