The section of the Interpretation of Sibaways and Al-Mofasal book, the topic of the authentication, which is a completion of the dissertation proposed by Ibrahim Ali Rakkah- May Ahhah have mercy on him- who authenticated its first section to receive his Ph.D from Dar al-Ulum college in Cairo university in 1403 AH-1983 AD, is of great scientific significance. It is the only remaining trace of the works of the Arabic linguist Afif Al-Deen Al-Kufi. The Interpretation of Sibaways and Al-Mofasal by the Arabic linguist Afif Al-Deen Al-Kufi is the source to finding his opinions, and it is the most comprehensive source to finding grammar evidence from Sibawways’ and AlMofasal’s books. Also, it is full of substance as it contains opinions, languages, literature, proverbs, stories that are unexampled. In addition, it preserved rare passages from lost books, and missing passages from books that exist. The most important aspect of the book is that it represents an important era in which the author lived. That era featured different cultures, and mixed civilizations, but surprisingly, its authentication did not receive the attention it deserves from researchers in the field, and it stayed on the book shelves for years until I came to authenticate this part. The study of the authenticated script consists of three parts: Part I: A biography of the author: his name, family name, birthplace, early life, education, culture, scientific career, death, and books. Part II: A brief study of some linguistic phenomena that appeared in this section. Part III: A brief overview of the authenticated script: its topic, value, and sources. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR] |

إنّ جزء كتاب شرح أبيات سيبويه والمفصّل )موضوع التحقيق( – الذي يُعدُّ إكمالاً للأطروحة العلمية التي تقدّم بها الباحث: إبراهيم علي ركّة-رحمه الله-بعد تحقيقه القسم الأول منه؛ لنيل درجة )الدكتوراه( من كلية دار 3891 م - ذو قيمة علمية عالية، فهو الأثر الوحيد الباقي للعالم اللغوي - العلوم بجامعة القاهرة عام 3041 عفيف الدين الكوفيّ ،الذي يُصار إليه للوقوف على آرائه، والأشمل للشواهد النحوية الواردة في كتابيْ سيبويه والمفصّل، فالكتاب غزير المادة جدًّا ،بما تضمّن بين دفتيه من آراء، ولغات، وآداب، وأمثال، وأخبار، يعزّ نظيرها فيما سواه، إضافة إلى حفظه نصوصًا نادرة من كتب مفقودة، ونصوصًاساقطة من كتب موجودة، وحسبه قيمة، أنّه يمثل مرحلة مهمة للعصر الذي عاش فيه مؤلفه، ذلك العصر الذي تنوّعت فيه الثقافات، وامتزجت فيه الحضارات، والعجب أنّ إكماله لم يلق عناية من المتخصصين، أو تطاله أيدي الباحثين، فظل في أرففه ردحًا من السنين حتّى وُفِّقتُ لتحقيق هذا الجزء منه.
