| Abstract (English): |
The study aimed to identity the impact of using the 4MAT system on developing mathematical concepts and critical thinking skills among students of the eighth grade. The researchers adopted the semiexperimental method using experimental design (pre-post) for two experimental and control groups to achieve the objectives of the study, and the study tools consisted of two tests of mathematical concepts and critical thinking skills, and the sample of the study consisted of (70) students of the eighth-grade elementary school in Abdul Qadir Husseini School for Girls. the study concluded that There are statistically significant differences at the level (α≤0.05) between the mean scores of the students of the experimental group and the members of the control group in the test of mathematical concepts, and the critical thinking test, in favor of the experimental group. One of the most important recommendations of the study is the use of the 4MAT system, which has proven effective in developing critical thinking skills in teaching other subjects, and teaching the 4MAT system to students of the Faculty of Education and training them to use it. في تنمية المفاهيم الرياضية ومهارات التفكير الناقد لدى طالبات )MAT هدفت الدراسة إلى بيان أثر استخدام نظام الفورمات ) 4 الصف الثامن الأساسي، واعتمد الباحثون المنهج شبه التجريبي باستخدام التصميم التجريبي )قبلي- بعدي( لمجموعتين تجريبية وضابطة لتحقيق أهداف الدراسة، وتمثلت أداة الدراسة في اختبارين للمفاهيم الرياضية ولمهارات التفكير الناقد، وتكونت عينة الدراسة من ) 07 ( طالبة من طالبات الصف الثامن الأساسي في مدرسة عبد القادر الحسيني للبنات بمدينة خانيونس، وخلصت بين متوسطي درجات طالبات المجموعة التجريبية )α≤ الدراسة إلى وجود فرق ذو دلالة إحصائية عند مستوى دلالة ) 0.05 والمجموعة الضابطة في القياس البعدي لاختبار المفاهيم الرياضية، واختبار مهارات التفكير الناقد لصالح المجموعة التجريبية في الذي أثبت فعاليته في تنمية المفاهيم )MAT كلا الاختبارين. وفي ضوء نتائج الدراسة أوصى الباحثون باستخدام نظام الفورمات ) 4 لطلاب كلية التربية وتدريبهم على )MAT الرياضية ومهارات التفكير الناقد في تدريس موضوعات أخرى، وتدريس نظام الفورمات ) 4 استخدامه سواء في التربية العملي أو بعد تخرجهم.
