مستخلص: The field experiment was conducted in the cashew plantation of Shaheed Gundadhur College of Agriculture and Research Station, Kumharawand, Jagdalpur, Bastar (Chhattisgarh) during 2020-21. The results revealed that maximum incidence of shoot tip caterpillar was observed during 43rd Standard meteorological week (SMW) in October with 10.21 per cent damage. Similarly, the maximum incidence of Leaf folder was recorded during August in 35th SWM by means of 0.25 per cent damage. The shoot tip caterpillar and leaf folder damage showed a highly significant negative correlation with maximum temperature and evaporation while a highly significant positive correlation with morning relative humidity. The multiple regression equations were developed for predicting the pests of cashew by using regression models. By using regression models and coefficient of determination (R2) indicated that shoot tip caterpillar damage and leaf folder damage can be predicted to an extent of 63 and 46 per cent, respectively.
