Will ein Unternehmen Stoffe wie Titandioxid, L‐(+)‐Milchsäure oder Perfluoroctansäure verkaufen, ist es an nationale und internationale Regularien gebunden, die sich oft ändern. Das harmonisierte System zur Einstufung und Kennzeichnung von Chemikalien der Vereinten Nationen soll einen Rahmen für den internationalen Warenaustausch schaffen, was nicht immer gelingt.
