مستخلص: The effects of the Covid-19 pandemic, which has been on the world agenda since January 2020, began to be seen in our country in the second half of March, and its impact has been increasing day by day. Many restrictions were imposed due to the pandemic rules announced during this period. While healthcare professionals struggling with pandemic-related diseases, they also had to continue the treatment of diseases related to their branches. Significant reductions were observed in the number of hospital admissions and surgery as a result of the reduction in the number of clinical beds, the effect of restrictions and the patients delaying their admission to health institutions due to the concern of getting a virus. The most obvious effects were observed in April and May. With the relaxation of the restrictions and the belief that the disease was decreasing in June, an increase was observed in hospital admissions. As a result, there was an increase in the number of operations. With this study, it was aimed to compare the applications to the Neurosurgery clinic and the operations performed during the pandemic periods with the last 5 years and to reveal the reasons that affect patient behavior.
