Scholars of literary criticism and historiography of the march of literature in different literary eras considers Fantasia as one of the critical terms developed on the literary scene; as it is a narrative technique that relies on the principle of transcending reality to nonreality and logic to non-logic It deconstructs the components of the reality that we see and live, feel all its details, and adapt to it, then it tries to reconfigure its dimensions, and it strives to produce it according to the vision of the author who tries to change this reality and turn it into a virtual world . Therefore we have chosen the novel "The Second Dog's War" by Palestinian novelist Ibrahim Nasrallah. And the reason we chose that novel was the author's serious attempt at evoking our inner minds. And it overlooks us with many questions that arouse the reader and interview him with shocking questions, even if they are in themselves existential questions that runs within the human mind system frequently The novel depicts a reality full of hallucinations, wonder and astonishment, and confuses the reader, and that through paradox and conformity to reality, So, while the writer acknowledged that the novel is set in a century or more from now, many of the characteristics and events are almost similar - if not identical - with what contemporary man lives in the twenty-first century. And it's through cutting-edge technology, its tampering with human minds, their excess ambition for well-being and democracy that turns out to be the opposite, According to the old saying: "Excessive things turn against itself ." The main objective of this study is to clarify the concept of fantasy by shedding light on the structural components of the novel and seeking to analyze them in order to reveal the fantasy dimensions on which the novel is based, and how close they are to reality. يعد علماء النقد األدبي والتأريخ لمسيرة األدب في العصور األدبية المختلفة الفانتازية أحدَ المصطلحات النقدية المستحدثة على الساحة األدبية؛ فهي تقنية سردية تتكيء على مبدأ قوامه تجاوز الواقع إلى الالواقع والمنطق إلى الالمنطق، فهي تقوم بتفكيك مكونات الواقع الذي نراه ونعيشه، ونشعر بكل تفاصيله، ونتكيف معه، ثم تحاول إعادة تشكيل أبعادها، وتجتهد في إنتاجها على وفق رؤية المؤلف الذي يحاول مغايرة هذا الواقع وتحويله الى عالم افتراضي. ولذا فقد وقع اختيارنا على رواية "حرب الكلب الثانية" للكاتب الروائي الفلسطيني إبراهيم نصر هللا، وعلة اختيارنا لتلك الرواية هو المحاولة الجادة للكاتب في استثارة عقولنا الباطنة، وتطل علينا بالعديد من األسئلة التي تثير القارئ وتحاوره بأسئلة صادمة، وإن كانت في حد ذاتها أسئلة وجودية تتردد داخل منظومة العقل اإلنسانية بكثرة. الرواية تصور واقعا مليئا بالهلوسة والتعجب والدهشة، وتصيب القارئ بالحيرة، وذلك من خالل المفارقة والمطابقة للواقع، ففي حين أقر الكاتب أن الرواية تدور أحداثها بعد قرن أو يزيد من اآلن ، إال أن العديد من الصفات واألحداث تكاد تتشابه -إن لم تكن تتطابق- مع ما يعيشه اإلنسان المعاصر في القرن الحادي والعشرين، وذلك من خالل التكنولوجيا المتطورة، وعبثها بعقول البشر، وطموحهم الزائد في الرفاهية والديمقراطية التي تستحيل إلى النقيض، عمال بالقول المأثور :" الشيء الزائد عن حده ينقلب إلى ضده". والهدف الرئيس من هذه الدراسة هو توضيح مفهوم الفانتازيا عرب تسليط الضوء على المكونات البنائية للرواية والسعي إلى تحليلها بغرض الكشف عن األبعاد الفانتازية، التي قامت عليها الرواية، ومدى تقاربها من الواقع.
