Abstract (English): I speak in this research, the famous imam reciter, and the modernist, the freed jurist, the well-versed scholar Sultan bin Ahmed Al-Muzahi (d. 1075 AH). Who was famous for scrutinizing art issues and his novels, and was known for the appearance of his personality in his books, and he presented in this research his biography and sheikhs and investigated aspects of his life and efforts in the science of readings and its impact on the Qur’anic school and the reading movement, and the research was characterized by (School of the mark: Sultan Al-Muzahi in the readings), and the research was divided to me: The first topic: his name, his birth, his upbringing, his old age, and his students The second topic: his scientific status, the praise of scientists for him, and his writings. The third topic: its impact and efforts on the reading movement. Then the conclusion, which contains the most prominent results and recommendations. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
Abstract (Arabic): ملخص البحثأتحدث في هذا البحث الإمام المقرئ الشهير، والمحدّث الفقيه النّحرير العلامة المتفنن سلطان بن أحمد المزَّاحي (ت1075ﻫ)؛ الذي اشتهر بتدقيق مسائل الفن ورواياته، وعُرف بظهور شخصيته في مؤلفاته, وأقدم في هذا البحث سيرته وشيوخه وتقصي جوانب حياته وجهوده في علم القراءات وأثره على المدرسة القرآنية والحركة الإقرائية, وقد وسمت البحث بـــعنوان: (مدرسة العلامة: سلطان المزاحي في القراءات), وقد قسمت البحث إلى:المبحث الأول: اسمه، ومولده، ونشأته, وحياته, وطلبه للعلم, وشيوخه, وتلاميذه. المبحث الثاني: مكانته العلمية والفقهية، وثناء العلماء عليه, ومؤلفاته وتراثه.المبحث الثالث: أثره وجهوده في الحركة الإقرائية. ثم الخاتمة وفيها أبرز النتائج والتوصيات.
