| Abstract (English): |
The Covid-19 pandemic along with devastating economic losses and significant uncertainities affected all areas of life, industries and sectors by spreading around the world without borders. Due to the serious impact of global and mass airline traffic on the spread of the epidemic, the closure of international airspaces as a precaution has caused devastating consequences, especially in the aviation industry. In this study, it was investigated whether there is a difference in the safety perceptions of cabin crews before Covid-19 and during Covid-19 process. The Covid-19 process is the period that begins with the World Health Organization's (WHO) declaration of the epidemic. In the study, with the participation of 250 flight attendants working in a corporate company, the effect of Covid-19 on the aviation industry was evaluated in terms of employees' perceptions of flight safety. According to the research findings, it was observed that there was no significant difference between the flight safety perceptions of cabin crew before Covid-19 and during Covid-19 process. They demonstrated a moderate level of positive perceptions of safety. However, differences were detected between the subdimensions of safety culture perceptions of cabin crew when pre-Covid-19 and Covid-19 process data are compared. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR] |

Covid-19 salgını, sınır tanımadan dünya çapında yayılarak, yıkıcı ekonomik kayıplar ve önemli belirsizlikler ile tüm endüstrileri, tüm sektörleri ve hayatın her alanını etkilemiştir. Salgının yayılmasında küresel ve kitlesel havayolu trafiğinin ciddi bir etkisi olması nedeniyle uluslararası hava sahalarının önlem olarak kapatılması özellikle havacılık sektöründe yıkıcı sonuçlara neden olmuştur. Bu çalışmada, Covid-19'un havacılık sektöründe çalışanların uçuş emniyeti algılarına etkisi ele alınmış, bu doğrultuda emniyetli bir uçuş operasyonunda çok önemli bir yeri olan kabin ekiplerinin Covid-19 öncesi ve sürecinde emniyet algılarında farklılık olup olmadığı araştırılmıştır. Covid-19 süreci, Dünya Sağlık Örgütünün salgını ilan etmesiyle başlayan dönemdir. Kurumsal bir havayolu işletmesinde çalışan 250 kabin memurunun katılımı ile gerçekleşen çalışmada anket yoluyla elde edilen veriler test edilmiş ve elde edilen bulgular doğrultusunda Covid-19'un havacılık sektörüne etkisi, çalışanların uçuş emniyeti algıları açısından değerlendirilmiştir. Araştırma sonunda Covid-19 öncesi ve sürecinde kabin ekiplerinin uçuş emniyeti algıları arasında fark olmadığı görülmüştür. Ancak emniyet kültürü algılarının alt boyutları arasında Covid-19 öncesi ve sürecinde farklılıklar tespit edilmiştir. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR] |
